3rd Generation Family-Owned Business
A year after certifying their farm organic in 1989, Doug and Lin Hilgendorf started Whole Grain Milling Company to provide just enough processing to put their grains into a more usable form while keeping as much of the nutrition and quality inherent in the whole grains intact.
The farm raises organic High-Lysine corn, blue corn, yellow and white popcorn, oats, rye, and buckwheat. Some years we grow spelt, barley, and black turtle beans. The other grains and beans we supply we acquire from other organic farms that we support. Our tortilla chips are made in our own facility from the corn we grow on our farm.
Whole Grain Milling is currently owned and operated by brothers Jeff and Ross Hilgendorf and cousin Eric Nielsen.

At Whole Grain Milling we grow and process certified organic grains and provide you with fresh, quality whole grain products direct from the farm.
